~ The 3rd or 4th truckload of 2026 Corvettes arrived today. Check out in the bright sun the new color Roswell Green coupe and the White and Black Corvettes with Santorini Blue interior.
~I enjoy receiving “Then and Now” pictures from my customers. My friend/customer Rudy Kellerman just re sent these 1959/2016 pictures to me and I thought I’d share the pics/story.
~Miami Beach 1959
“I was Florida State Champion at Amelia Earhart drag strip (Miami) in Sport Car B. ( 283ci single carb) The location is now Miami Dade Junior College. It was originally the airfield that Amelia Earhart took off on her last trip. I’m the skinny kid on the passenger side. I let my friend Ira drive my car that day. He no longer is with us. This is us years later. This was Ira’s last car. I’m still the skinny kid in the passenger side. He was my best friend. I’ve had five Vetts but the first one was the most memorable.”
Thank you for sharing Rudy and RIP Ira.
~Friday 9/5/25~ Today was my day off so I drove two hours North to Hershey, PA.
Took a tour of the AACA Library and Research Center. As I walked into the Atrium I notice the Atrium dedication for David and Susan Landow. They bought a new ZL1 Convertible recently and have been customers/good friends for 17+ years. Then I look in the trophy case and The Corvette award has another customer of mine prominently displayed on a unique NCRS AACA award, Mel Mann. Mel is from Miami and has bought several Corvettes from me and is a Top NCRS Judge in the highest regard. I text David that I was visiting for the first time and he immediately text the CEO, Steve Moskowitz and he gave me, Jim Broyles and Ed Hurst a private tour. Jim had set up Dan Reed, a volunteer and friend of Jim’s to share some of the Corvette archives. Only 3 million items available to view! At the end of the tour we said good bye to Steve/Dan and went into Hummelstown for Lunch at a local Diner. We pull up and of course sitting in the parking lot was a nice 1962 Corvette in driver condition.
Fun day and the quick 105 mile trip back went fast as there was no traffic. Big thanks to Steve Moskowitz, Dan and David for the intro. The AACA is in great hands and I’m going to try and make it up for their big event/car show October 10th. So that’s what this car guy does on his day off. Always learning and meeting cool car people.
~I attended the Record Breaking Game when Cal Ripken passed Lou Gehrig for consecutive games played which has its own interesting story. But the real story as always is the Corvette connection then…and last night.
“Thirty years ago today, Cal Ripken Jr. ran onto the field at Camden Yards and broke baseball’s “unbreakable” record by playing his 2,131st consecutive game. Saturday, the Orioles and fans honored the Iron Man once again, celebrating the enduring legacy of that night and the dedication he brought to Baltimore.”
~Peter and Susan G. of McLean, Virginia factory ordered from me their new Competition Yellow 2026 Corvette Z51 Coupe with Competition seats. Today was delivery day and smiles were endless and for good reason. Their other Corvette is a 2014 Limerock Green C7. Equipment: 2LT, front lift, Z51, yellow calipers, Stingray R appearance pkg, 20 spoke gloss black wheels and yellow custom stitching.
~ This week’s Top 100 Corvette Barn finds and throwback pictures from around the globe! ***For those counting at home, I only have another 69,000 pictures to share!
Drive safely and enjoy the week.

I like the pics of the orange 72 Coupe and the black 69 427 Coupe.
I like the blue ’57 SR2 the best! When Rich Mason owned this car, my wife was allowed to sit in this car while we were at the Steamboat Vintage Car races. Rich was kind enough to show her all about his car!
Of course, the black ’69 L88 is always a favorite!
