Saturday Morning Corvette Comic: First Impressions Matter

1. This is true… at least to some extent… I have experienced it myself… I actually got an older ‘Classic’ Rolls Royce, as part of the sale of an older luxury home in “The Right Neighborhood”
   The Family said just sell it, including whatever is inside… and any vehicles can be factored into your commission… I got both sides of the sale {Listing and Selling) to one of my group of investors… But that is too long of a story…
   But, for about two years, that was my “Business vehicle” and I took out clients of all price ranges… in a classic ‘rolls Limo!
   But you have to be mindful that SOME people will assume you are getting PAID TOO MUCH, if you can drive that kind of car… At least I was driving it myself… (-:

2. The term metaperception refers to how an individual interprets other people’s perception of them. Metaperception has been widely studied within the realm of narcissism. Narcissists tend to view themselves as confident, agreeable and friendly. Their high self-esteem may make them seem charming and attractive initially, although this first impression quickly sours. In time, people typically see through to how self-involved and smug narcissists truly are.
