Are you ready for some GR8PL8S?
One of the really cool things about traveling to a different state or region is that you get to see a whole new set of vanity license plates that you don’t normally see in your neck of the woods. Such was the case when we flew from Florida to Texas to take part in the 2025 Corvette Invasion. There were 350 registered Corvettes at the show and we got to see some really creative plates from those who came from 14 different states to show off their Corvettes!
I’ve been on the search for good plate for my 2025 E-Ray, so I am writing off this trip as research into what is sometimes a very personal decision.
When considering a good vanity plate, you need to ask yourself some questions. Is the plate going to be about the car like “C8VET” or “VET-77,” or should it be more about the owner’s state of mind as one owner just “HD2HAVE?” What about a vanity plate that describes what the car is capable of like “ACC3LR8” (which also gets points for good use of other characters to portray its meaning!)
We saw these and more in Texas and because the state requires a front plate, we were also able to include some front-end shots which also showed some of the decorations people did with their parking spots. Did we capture your Corvette at the Corvette Invasion? Let us know in the comments below!
