It took just one road trip to make me a believer in NoviStretch’s protective front masks for my C8 Corvette.

The NoviStretch Corvette front bumper mask offers a quick and easy solution to protect your front exterior paint and radiators from rock chips, bug splatter and other road debris. I have friends that have used the NoviStretch front masks on their Corvettes for road trips, and they swore by the protection benefits they offer. So before taking my first road trip in the car, I decided to add a NoviStretch to my Corvette.

Back in April, I drove my 2025 Corvette E-Ray to Bowling Green for the Michelin NCM Bash at the Corvette Museum. But before making that 11-hour journey from Tampa to Bowling Green, I installed the NoviStretch front mask on my car. The installation process is beyond easy. Just replace four T15 screws in each wheel well and one under the front splitter and then stretch the synthetic mesh fabric cover across the front of the car. The cover snaps into place with the supplied hardware and elastic hooks, and it totally covers the front bumper from the bottom of your front lip/splitter up to the frunk while also fully covering your front radiators.

As you can see, the NoviStretch front mask fits very securely to the car while still allowing your Corvette’s beautiful lines to show through. Best of all, this is an easily reversible mod that anyone can perform as there is no drilling, cutting, or other permanent modifications needed.

NoviStretch Performance Protective Covers are made in the USA from a durable stretch fabric that offers a tight, secure, contoured fit around the front fascia. This tight fit ensures there is no fluttering of material while driving, and the soft mesh will not chaff or damage the painted surfaces of your Corvette, nor will it damage your PPF or ceramic coatings. Should you get rained on, the breathable material doesn’t trap moisture, and it dries quickly. The mesh fabric allows for sufficient airflow through the material and into the front radiators, so overheating is not an issue, and it excels at keeping your front radiator cooling fins free from small rocks, bugs, and other debris.

In addition to the front masks, NoviStretch also offers Mirror Covers made from the same stretch material. Sold as a pair for $49, these covers simply slide over the side mirror housings and then are adjusted by hand for optimum fit.

Pricing for the C8 Corvette front mask is $159 while previous generations range from $139-$159 as well. NoviStretch Performance Protective Covers carry a one-year limited warranty against defects or premature failure. While use may vary from customers, the life of the NoviStretch front mask is typically two to three years. NoviStretch is available at the NCM Store, so NCM Bash Attendees or R8C customers looking for additional protection on the drive home can now pick up one at the National Corvette Museum.

For those who reside in a state that mandates front license plates, the front mask allows the license plate to be installed on top of the mask by piercing the fabric with the mounting screws. This method ensures the plate can be clearly seen while also keeping the material from developing a run due to the mounting screws.
