While there are a few spots remaining for tours in 2025, Two Lane America’s Austin Coop says that its tours in 2026 will be very exciting as America’s Main Street will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. Congress has even established the Route 66 Centennial Commission to oversee the celebration of the 100th Anniversary with official events and celebrations planned in each of the eight states that Route 66 runs through.
If you’re ready to start planning for your excursion across the American West, Two Lane America will have a booth set up next weekend for the Corvette Expo 2025 at the Le Conte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Representatives and former Route 66 trip alumni will be on hand to tell you all about the experience and what you can expect. If you want to tour Route 66 during its 100th Anniversary Celebration, contact Two Lane America’s tour guide Austin Coop at [email protected] or 513-827-8273 about Corvette Club registrations or any other questions you may have. Dates will fill up fast for 2026 so inquire today!
Route 66 was the first national paved highway to cross the American West, and your caravan of fellow adventurers is limited to 20 vehicles as you follow the best stretches of the original Route 66 from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. Austin Coop has personally traveled Route 66 over 100 times during the last 10 years and he knows all the old filling stations, vintage diners, roadside attractions and other historic sites worth checking out. Along the 2,400-mile itinerary are stops at several natural wonders and two national parks including the Grand Canyon! At the end of the journey is Los Angeles and the Santa Monica Pier.
As you travel across the country on America’s original Mother Road, you’ll cross historic two-lane bridges, cruise through small towns, and experience all those quirky roadside attractions that Route 66 is known for. Your tour guides will show you the famous Cadillac Ranch, the Leaning Tower of Britten in Groom, Texas, and Arizona’s Hackberry General Store. You’ll gaze in wonder during the stop at the Grand Canyon, and you might even find yourself humming the famous Eagles song as you’re “Standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona.” There is so much to see and do during each of the 13 days.

Sounds like a nice trip except Chicago and LA. I like my Corvette and want to keep it.
