Corvettes For Sale: 1995 Corvette ZR-1 Still has Plastic on the Seats, Just 38 Miles on Odometer!

Low-mileage 1990-95 Corvette ZR-1s that have been stored as investments are nothing new, but this final-year example takes “like new” to the next level, and it can be yours today. The car in question is VIN 123 of the 448 Kings of the Hill, pieced together for last call in 1995. It wears Arctic White, which, along with Black and Dark Red Metallic, was one of the three (four if you count the Polo Greens as one) colors available for the entire six-year run of Corvette’s famed return to international performance prominence.

That makes it one of 619 total Arctic White ZR-1s, which narrows down to just 41 for ’95. When you account for its Black interior, the whole package enters rarified air as a one-of-11 proposition! All things considered, though, this 38-mile Stormtrooper is actually more interesting as a time capsule than a mode of transportation. It comes along with an original bill of sale showing 36 miles, meaning the first digit of its odometer has only turned over twice since it was delivered to its first owner thirty years ago!

It’s so original that the manufacturer’s shipping plastic seat covers and steering wheel wrap are still dutifully protecting the leather from the threat of careless lot boys tasked with unloading new arrivals. Even though it doesn’t get to move under its own power very often, the buyer ensures perspective collectors/museum curators that the DOHC LT5 runs like new and has “no leaks of any kind.”

What does a factory-fresh example of arguably the most desirable year of the only 400 horsepower car GM produced between 1972 and 2001 cost after seemingly teleporting it to 2025? Well, according to the listing on eBay, that would be $114,000, but in one of the great traditions of online commerce, that comes with an “or best offer” caveat! You never know how much wiggle room there will be, but $114k doesn’t seem too bad for a brand-new high-end vehicle that retailed for $72,209 during the first half of the Clinton Administration – or, for you sports fans, the last time the Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl. If the ZR-1 kept up with the 108.4% cumulative rate of inflation over the last 30 trips around the sun, this white unicorn would command $150,516.44. Cost is all about context, and with this car’s 1,064-horse great-grandchild hitting the scene to off-the-charts hype, the iron might have reached the perfect temperature for a savvy collector to strike!

So like the first owner is the new owner just going to keep it put away and not drive it either? Yellow was also available every year on the C4 ZR1 but it wasn’t the cool looking Competition Yellow every year throughout the model run.

I had a 95 metallic purple, tan top, tan interior. It only had 16k miles on it when i sold it 3 years ago.
