Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Feb 9th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

The Corvette Nation is still reeling from GM’s recent decision to fire Harlan Charles and Kirk Bennion, and so Mike shares a a nice note and several photos of him with these future “Hall of Fame” legends. Mike was also busy making Corvette dreams come true and we’ve go some great photos to share including a Hysteria Purple with Adrenaline Red interior. I’ve been waiting to see that color combo. ~Tough day today as I learned my two friends have left their respective positions with GM. I will miss Harlan Charles and Kirk Bennion very much from their roles with GM but can lean on the fact that our friendship will continue. I can only guess at the multiple number of dozens of GM events that I spent with these two fine gentleman. They were always gracious with their time, not just with me but anyone that was a Corvette enthusiast which always impressed me as they handled any and all questions with ease. I hope their endeavors bear fruit in endless accomplishments at every step of their life! Best wishes!

~Tuesday 2/4/25 ~7:30am…3 Corvettes (2 E-Ray) deliveries before 10:30am. Weather is picture perfect today, blue sky and 50 degrees in Maryland. Yellow to New Jersey, White to California and Sea Wolf Gray to Iowa. Corvettes spanning the globe!

~Rich S. Of Reed City, Michigan opened up his laptop computer at 6am this morning and viewed my picture on an MSN story. I can only assume MSN grabbed the picture from the Cigar Aficionado magazine article that they did on me a few years ago. Rich has bought a few Corvettes from me over the past decade and maybe he thought I was sending him subliminal messages for another Corvette purchase.

~ Lots of C8 Deliveries this week!

~Richard and Cheri M. of Sequim, Washington factory ordered from me their new Black 2025 Corvette Z06 coupe and this past Saturday they had the red carpet rolled out for them by the Museum staff in Bowling Green, KY. Everyone had a wonderful time at the National Corvette Museum. Equipment: 3LZ, visible Carb fiber roof, Carbon flash with red accent full length dual racing stripes, Carbon fiber instrument trim, Carbon ceramic brakes, bright red calipers, black exhaust tips, R6X custom interior trim, visible carbon fiber wheels with red stripe, red custom stitching, and much more!!

The photos are now supplied to me by Fotofx, a company that has been working within the Museum for the past 10+ years and now they have pkgs available for a truly special experience to be captured digitally.

~Doug and Kathy W. of Wharton, New Jersey were referred to me by my friend/customer and Doug’s brother Andy who happens to be a member out at Spring Mountain race track in NV. Doug factory ordered his very first Corvette that he has ever owned and was thrilled with the results. Check out their new Competition Yellow 2025 Corvette Stingray Convertible with Natural interior and Carbon Flash Black top. They did a one way rental down from NJ so they could enjoy their first ride together. Equipment: 2LT, GT2 buckets, front lift, magnetic ride, yellow calipers, and much more.

~Jeff L. of Temecula, California reached out across 3,000 miles to buy his very first Corvette, Jeff factory ordered an Arctic White 2025 Corvette Eray Convertible with natural interior and Red seat belts. We completed the paperwork via Fed ex and today Plycar is scheduled to load up/ enclose trailer it to California. Equipment: 3LZ, ZER performance pkg, stealth interior trim, red engine cover, ground effects pkg, red calipers, black exhaust tips, Red Corvette script on rear, Carbon flash machine edge wheels, Jake rear hash stripe and much more!

~Larry M. of Burlington, Iowa has purchased Corvettes from me in the past and today his factory ordered Sea Wolfe Gray with habanero orange/black interior 2025 Corvette Eray Convertible gets loaded up for the trip from Maryland to his Iowa home. Equipment: 3LZ, stealth interior trim, CF painted top/nacelles, orange calipers, black exhaust tips, dark stealth crossed flags and engine appearance pkg.

~Robert and Dawn M. of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania were referred to me by Al and Andrea of NC. Today they took the 3 1/2 hour drive down from PA to drive home their new Hysteria Purple 2025 Corvette Eray Convertible. Two of the nicest folks you’d ever want to meet are super happy the way their new Eray turned out. Take good look at the video in the comments section as they drove off. Equipment: 2LZ, GT2 buckets, edge red calipers, D30 color combo over ride with Adrenaline Red interior, Jake C8R graphics pkg, black forged aluminum wheels, ZER performance pkg and much more.

~Jerry F. of Sarasota, Florida flew in this morning and took delivery of an Arctic White 2017 Corvette Grandsport coupe. Exactly what he was seeking for his next Corvette as he and his friends have bought Corvettes from me in the past. Jerry is driving it to his Monroe Twp, NJ home and will return to Florida for the next 6 weeks or so.

While I enjoy seeing these Corvette photos over the years, can’t help but notice the age of the drivers / owners in photos from decades past versus those buying C8s now. Sure seems like most drivers were under 40 in the past and now over 50 (being generous) as most look like retirees every week. Does this mean 1) The cost of new Corvettes is just unobtainable for the majority of younger people or interest in sports cars in waning and/or 2) Those under age 40 drivers in the past have just aged into present-day C8 buyers? After this generation has passed on, will there be Corvette buyers in numbers sufficient to justify future models amongst average folks?

Maybe give a thank you to all the Jack Cooper drivers who flawlessly and professionally delivered all the Corvettes to you over the years. The clowns who will be delivering them from now on will make you long for the good old days.
