When Chevrolet released the 2019 Corvette ZR1, it became the swan song not only for C7 generation but for all front-engine Corvettes. Our only complaint with the car was that it was just a one year option! With the mid-engine Corvette on the way, we don’t believe many truly saw what a great investment the ZR1 would become.
But those that did see the potential of the 2019 ZR1 jumped on the car and once the C7 era was officially over, we’ve seen a steady rise in values for ZR1s, and they show no signs of slowing down. That’s because the car is a real performer with its supercharged LT5 motor producing 755-horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. Those numbers are still relevant today as the ZR1 features the most powerful V8 engine ever to be put into a production Corvette.
We’ve noted previously that when it comes to the Corvette ZR1, collectors want to see three things on the car. They want the ZTK Performance Package with the huge Carbon Fiber high wing. They want the 7-speed manual transmission, which the ZR1 and the 7th gen Corvette was the last to have, and they want a car with very low miles. This Corvette ZR1 Coupe wears a VIN sequence number of 2885 and was one of the very last of the 2,953 Corvette ZR1s produced for the model year. Delivered new to Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Illinois with an MSRP of $130K, this ZR1 is a base 1ZR car but it has all the goodies with the $2,995 ZTK Performance Package which adds the performance suspension, summer-only Michelin Sport Cup run-flats, and the visible carbon aero with the high wing.
Other options include the Carbon Flash ZR1 Aluminum Wheels ($495), Red Brake Calipers ($595), Performance Data Recorder and NAV ($1,795), Performance Air Intake ($690) which bumps horsepower from 755 up to 770, and the battery protection package ($100). As the top dog in the C7 Corvette line-up, all ZR1s Coupes came with a Visible Carbon Fiber removeable roof panel and the Visible Carbon Fiber engine cover which sticks up through the hood.
The Corvette is finished in Shadow Gray and it’s just one of 165 total ZR1 Coupes to feature that exterior color. Inside you’ll find a Jet Black interior and the aforementioned manual 7-speed transmission that is just waiting for you to work the gears with. Upon starting up the ZR1, you will see just 252 miles on the odometer.

The price most C7 ZR1s are going for nowadays is unreal.
Wow, beautiful example of Chevrolet’s finest. I still don’t get how you spend well over a 100k for an awesome car like this, and then don’t drive it. Bought on speculation I imagine.
