Smart Fabric v3 can be used on your soft convertible tops and interiors, especially if your Corvette is optioned with the microfiber suede that Chevrolet uses throughout the Corvette’s interior, including the seats, door panels, center consoles, and steering wheel. How to Apply Smart Fabric v3
For interior surfaces, GTECHNIQ recommends using their I2 TriClean to prepare the surface before treating with Smart Fabric. For the convertible top, prep it first with their W5 Citrus All Purpose Cleaner. Allow 48 hours for the prepped surfaces to dry. Spray Smart Fabric v3 evenly over the surface from a distance of about six inches ensuring thorough saturation. Allow to dry for 24 hours for full effectiveness. Make sure the Smart Fabric application is thorough as it will repel any additional attempts once it has dried.
