  1. The C2 and the C7 are my favorite generations of the legendary Corvette.
    I maintain that (in my humble opinion) they are the two most beautiful generations of the Corvette up to this point in time. I like the C8 a lot, but if I were looking to purchase a Corvette today, I’d be looking for a clean, low-mileage and well-equipped C7 convertible.
    I can no more afford a new C8 than I could afford a restored and road-ready C2…
    so financially, I think the very best bang for my bucks ~ and for many miles of smiles ~ would be for a modern and well-equipped Corvette from the stunningly gorgeous late C7 family.
