Corvette Racing’s World Endurance Championship campaign continues this week with the team taking on a brand new track. This time we are in Japan for the Six Hours of Fuji at the historic Fuji Speedway.

The track offers 16 corners and an overall length of 2.84 miles, and while Nick Tandy has raced at the Fuji Speedway twice in his career in prototypes, this will be the first time for American driver Tommy Milner to experience the circuit first hand.

The Six Hours of Fuji for the FIA World Endurance Championship is scheduled for 11 a.m. JST Sunday / 10 p.m. ET Saturday from Fuji Speedway in Japan. Qualifying is set for 2:40 p.m. JST/1:40 a.m. ET on Saturday. The race will air live on MotorTrend with live streaming coverage of the race and qualifying on the MotorTrend Plus app. Radio Le Mans will broadcast qualifying and the race.

Thanks again to Charley Robertson at the Corvette Racing Fans page on Facebook for gathering up all this great info to help Jake fans keep up with all the action.

  1. I’m very disappointed with the FIA WEC bias towards the Porsche Team. All the races to date give the Porsche BOP a distinct advantage. So they change the BOP for the Fuji to give them an even greater advantage. Corvette has an weight increase of 10 KG, Porsche has a weight decrease of 5 KG, a fuel increase of 2 liters and a restrictor plate increase of 0.4 mm. These numbers seem small but an effective 2% increase overall is huge.

  2. I agree. The same thing has happened in IMSA this year. IMSA has hardly touched the porsche while they have BoP’d the crap out of the Corvette. All of the classes still have the championships up in the air going into Petite Le Mans except GTD Pro where the porsche has the championship already wrapped up & the Corvette has been an also ran. I am sick of porsche getting all the breaks.
