Our friends at Rick Hendrick’s Chevrolet dealership in Naples are helping to serve the growing legion of new and longtime Corvette owners in Southwest Florida with the completion of their new 60,000 square foot facility that will now host sales, service, and parts under one roof. Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Naples is no stranger to Corvette buyers with last year’s sales of 135 Corvettes placing the dealer at no. 18 on the Top 100 Corvette Dealers of 2021.

Located in Naples at 5665 North Airport Pulling Road, the new state-of-the-art dealership occupies 13 acres and is 20,000 square feet larger than the previous facility built back in 1969. The new 41-bay service department spans 30,000 square feet and is fully air-conditioned. Corvette fans will be impressed that the service bay doors can be raised in just 1.6 seconds which helps to preserve the cooler temps within the service department.

The Performance Center at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Naples

One of the more relevant aspects of Rick Hendrick’s Naples dealership for Corvette enthusiasts is the addition of an in-house Performance Parts Center and Boutique. The Performance Center has C8 Corvette parts and accessories both in-stock or easily orderable through the parts counter and their technicians can even do the installs.

The fully-stocked Boutique features Corvette and Camaro t-shirts, coffee mugs, die-cast models, and more. It’s a great way to pick out a gift for the Corvette enthusiast in your life, even if that person is you!

The new facility is just one of the reasons why Corvette owners should visit South Florida’s newest Chevrolet showroom for purchasing their next Corvette, as well as for performance parts and service. I spoke with sales representative Alex Benavitz who works with a lot of Corvette buyers at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Naples and he gave some insight into how they are handling sales of the 2023 Corvette Stingray and Z06.

Alex said that initial demand for the C8 Corvette Stingray had caused them to pause taking deposits as the waitlist exploded following the reveal in 2019. He says they have since worked through it and just started accepting new deposits for the Stingray within the last few weeks, telling us it’s now only a “several months” wait as opposed to a year or longer at some other dealerships. Yes, they do sell customer-ordered Corvettes at MSRP and your purchase does include a paint protection package.

As for the Z06, it’s a different story. Alex says they have taken 0 deposits for the car, but they have taken names. Like many dealers we’ve talked with, they believe their allocations will be limited especially during the first year, and don’t want to overpromise and underdeliver. We get the sense that their Z06 allocations will be going to their known local customers so we’ll see how that all shakes out.

The Naples dealership is very active on Facebook and their page features a number of videos introducing their employees and showing off the new facility. Make sure you check out the demonstration of the service bay doors opening in 1.6 seconds! The traditional bell ringing at the dealership announcing a new sale has been taken to the next level as we see happy customers “bang the gong” to celebrate their purchase.
