If you can’t wait for the delayed-by-special-wheels 70th anniversary Corvette, whet your sports car appetite with another special anniversary edition that’s half as new and way cheaper.
That’s right, a seller in the Wichita, Kansas area has put his no-accident 1988 35th Anniversary Corvette on the market for a very reasonable $12,995.
Only 2,090 of these Corvettes were built that year to celebrate the momentous occasion, and if you like white with black accents, this is definitely the car for you.
These special editions feature white paint, white wheels, and white leather interior, including the steering wheel. Black accents like the dash, console and tinted removable roof panel add a nice touch of contrast.
While this one has 98,000 miles, it appears that the two owners have taken good care of it while using it for its intended purpose. Photos don’t always tell an accurate story, but the seats appear to be in pretty good shape, which is a miracle considering how hard it is to keep white clean.
While these early C4s will never be confused with more powerful later editions, the 245-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine creates enough torque (340 lb-ft) for a good time, and we absolutely love the clamshell hood that makes these classic models pretty exotic in our book.
The seller says the car “runs and drives great” and the air conditioning even blows ice cold – a nice feature with hot summer temperatures right now. Will you be celebrating an anniversary in this special Corvette?

Something is funky with the wheels, the left rear & right front wheels have the spokes in the wrong direction.
