For those of you looking to customize your C8 Corvette’s engine bay, our friends at American Hydrocarbon are here to help! Since the introduction of the C8 Corvette, American Hydrocarbon has led the way in customizing the mid-engine Corvette’s “jewel under glass” as the Stingray’s LT2 V8 has been referred to by Chevy engineers and designers. This month, American Hydrocarbon is proud to show off these new GM officially licensed accessories which include new fluid caps featuring the C8 crossed flags and Corvette Racing “Jake” logos!

As a special treat, check out the video we shot from the NCM Bash featuring AH founder and president Pat Scorzetti showcasing many of the different engine covers, filler panels, and fluid caps that Pat was showcasing in his display. We also get a walk around with Pat of a customized C8 Corvette dedicated to Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Jeuchter featuring many of the custom parts and accessories available from American Hydrocarbon.

GM Officially Licensed C8 Fluid Caps

American Hydrocarbon’s Corvette fluid caps for the C8 are the latest GM officially licensed products and now there are two new designs – the Jake mascot from Corvette Racing and the new C8 ZORA caps.

These engine fluid caps are chrome-plated steel that can be customized with the C8’s exterior body colors or a number of American Hydrocarbon’s exclusive finishes including hydrocarbon visible carbon. The logos on the caps are painted, not decals, and they are covered with five coats of PPG clear coat and then buffed to a show quality shine.

C8 Crossed Flags Fluid Caps

The set of four (4) engine fluid caps includes a Coolant Cap, Washer Cap, Oil Cap, and Brake Fluid Cap which start at $395. You can also customize the 2-cap Washer and Brake Fluid set for the Hard Top Convertible which starts at $205.

Bundle a C8 Engine Cover with Filler Panels and Fluid Caps

One of the major reasons that Corvettes buyers select the Stingray Coupe is to show off the LT2 V8, so why not give it the custom look it deserves. The quickest way to customize your C8 Corvette Stingray’s engine bay is by selecting one of American Hydrocarbon’s bundles!

Engine Cover and Fluid Cap Bundle

Although the C8 engine covers are not an officially licensed GM product, they are an OEM GM replacement part so they offer a perfect fit. The crossed flags on the engine covers are painted by hand and then covered in five coats of PPG UV automotive clear coat for the ultimate protection.

The C8 side rail filler panels are constructed from 1/4-inch Lexan for durability and heat resistance. You can select between Carbon Flash, hydrocarbon (Carbon Fiber), or one of the C8 exterior body colors and they can be accented with additional colors and logos as well. The engine fluid caps can be painted to match your C8 body color or you can choose their exclusive hydrocarbon finish. The logos are painted on in full color and the set of four includes a Coolant Cap, Washer Cap, Oil Cap, and Brake Fluid Cap.

Engine Cover with Filler Panels and Fluid Caps Bundle

Owners with the Engine Appearance Package might want to go just a custom engine cover and fluid caps which are $1,145-$1,390 while those without the Engine Appearance Package can also add a set of engine panel fillers to give your engine bay a complete makeover starting at $1,995-$2,250.

NCM Bash Video

We’ve known American Hydrocarbon’s president and founder Pat Scorzetti for a few years now, but we first got to say hello in person and shake hands during the 2022 NCM Bash at the National Corvette Museum.

We see a lot of custom parts for Corvettes and seeing custom engine covers up close allows us to see the level of detail that every Corvette owner wants when ordering custom products for their Corvette. Pat’s display featured a number of custom painted engine covers, side rail filler panels, and fluid caps, and then we walk over for a walk-around the Tadge Juechter/Zora Tribute C8 that includes custom painted aero and engine cover from American Hydrocarbon.

  1. I have had Pat do a lot of work for and I have never been didappointed. Thanks Pat

  2. Pat has done work for me on my C7. We talked about the design I was interested in, his team presented a number of options and then delivered on my decision. I received a top 10 award in the first car show after I had installed my engine components. If you own a Corvette, you want top quality work and that’s what you get with Pat’s business.
