This month’s drawing is the final chapter on this story we’ve been following for over 15 years.

Thirty-Six Corvettes ranging chronologically from 1953-1989 were given away to one winner in a famous 1989 VH1 contest. The collection was purchased from the original winner and then stored away for decades in a NYC parking garage by pop artist Peter Max. A group called the Corvette Heroes rescued the long-forgotten collection and now each of the 36 Corvettes is offered in a sweepstakes fundraiser for the National Guard Educational Foundation.

These Corvettes have undergone restoration at Dream Car Restorations on Long Island with the crew focusing on mechanics, interior, and paint. The Covid lockdowns slowed the original pace of the giveaways since the contest was first announced, but now we are down to the final eight Corvettes in the collection. The group includes some of the most desirable years for collectors and enthusiasts alike! Enter by January 10th for your chance to win a 1953, 1956, 1966, 1967, 1969, 1976, 1981, or a 1985 Corvette.
