In the next few weeks, a new specialty/collector car auction site will be launching with the aim of bringing the full auction experience to your mobile devices. The virtual auction service is called Collectors Xchange and its goal is to disrupt the auto auction space through personal service and technology. CX set out to create a new collector car marketplace designed with user-friendly features and to inject as much transparency into the auction process as possible.

Collectors Xchange was founded by J.R. Amantea, Michael Yager, and Chandler Briscoe. All three are seasoned collectors with years of buying and selling experience who looked at the current offerings and decided they could offer a better experience. The company will be hosting a variety of collector vehicles, from vintage classics and muscle cars to modern-day supercars, through their 24/7 online auction platform.

“We have been looking for an auction experience that better aligned to our generation,” said J.R. Amantea, Co-Founder and CEO. “We wanted something more suited for the buyers, less intimidating to new collectors and portable so you can take it with you on your phone, laptop, or tablet. We couldn’t find anything like this in the current marketplace so we set out to build it ourselves.”

Through the Collectors Xchange app, buyers can check out the latest auction listings and more. Every vehicle offered for sale features a standardized special report from a verified expert that details independently the good, the bad, and even the ugly. In addition to the CX Report, every eligible vehicle will also receive a CARFAX vehicle history report for even more peace of mind. Buyers will also be able to get recommendations for turn-key services related to their new automotive purchase that include financing, shipping, and insurance directly from the app. The Watch List with push notifications allows you to keep tabs on current auctions. For those vehicles that sell at a price greater than $150,000, the buyer receives free shipping.

For those who want to offer their collector vehicle for sale, Collectors Xchange offers a virtual auction format that showcases your car during its seven-day auction run. The virtual format helps keep the seller costs lower than traditional brick-and-mortar auction houses and helps to eliminate unnecessary travel in the age of COVID. Collectors Xchange works with sellers to help coordinate the gather of documentation and details. Photos of the vehicles can be uploaded directly from the app. Once everything has been arranged, your vehicle is inspected by a verified third party, and then it is ready to go live on the auction portal.

Collectors Xchange

Throughout the process, the Collectors Xchange is there every step of the way to serve as the agent between the buyer and seller, helping to expedite the collection of funds as well as the transfer of the vehicle registration. Transparency is key as nobody wants any surprises throughout the purchasing process. And unlike most auction sites, the Collectors Xchange remains available to the parties long after the sale has been completed.

To learn more about the Collectors Xchange, visit CX.auction and register today. If you want more information about listing your collector vehicle for sale, email [email protected] or call toll-free 1-888-694-2607. All auctions are viewable at the CX.auction website, but for the best experience, visit the iTunes App Store or Google Play and download the official Collector Xchange app.
