The seventh round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is here as Corvette Racing rolls into the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the Acura SportsCar Challenge. This will be the first time the C8.Rs have visited Mid-Ohio and with the track being in close proximity to Detroit, we are hoping that members of the Corvette Team will be able to come see first hand their new racecar in action.
Corvette Racing is currently leading in the standings with the No.3 C8.R duo of Antonio Garcia and Jordan Taylor leading the GTLM Drivers Championship while Chevrolet sits at the top of the Manufacturer Championship.
There was no Balance of Performance Updates this week, so we’ll be racing under the technical bulletin set prior to Road Atlanta.
Unfortunately, no live TV broadcast again from NBC. NBC TrackPass members can watch it live and it’s slated to air on NBCSN at 11pm Sunday evening (ET).
Thanks again to our friend Charley Robertson of the Corvette Racing Fans page on Facebook who keeps us updated with this outstanding list of links to help all the Jake fans to keep up with the action this weekend.
