It’s Race Week and the Corvette C8.Rs will be in action at Virginia International Raceway for a GT-only sprint race. With no prototypes on the track this weekend, it opens the possibility for the Corvettes to be the overall winners of the Michelin GT Challenge.
The Corvettes are coming in on a hot streak with three wins in the last four races. It will be tough going though as IMSAs BoP update has added 20kg to both the Corvettes and the Porsches while allowing a 5kg weight loss on the BMW M8s. But as history shows, the Corvette team will never give up the fight as long as the green flag waves.
