Yesterday we took off half the day to visit with our friends at the Corvette Dream Giveaway. Sorry, we can’t talk about future product (I always wanted to say that!), but what I can talk about are the two cars that represent the biggest Corvette grand prize ever in the 12-year history of the Corvette Dream Giveaway.

For 2019, the Corvette Dream Giveaway is offering two very special Corvettes – a 2019 Corvette ZR1 with the ZTK Performance Package and a 1961 Corvette restored! And as always, the winner of these two Corvettes will also receive a check for $60,000 to pay the taxes!

We’ve had the opportunity to drive both of these automotive masterpieces and each offers their own unique driving experience. Feeling old school? The Tuxedo Black 1961 Corvette restomod with the beautiful red leather interior offers that classic open-air driving experience while listening to the drumming of the LS3 V8 engine under the hood. The restomod offers plenty from the new school in terms of safety and comfort with the addition of power steering, power brakes, A/C and a Bluetooth AM/FM radio.

And then there’s the Lingenfelter 2019 Corvette ZR1 with 755-hp and 715 lb-ft of torque. The last great front-engine Corvette and it’s wearing VIN #107. The Black ZR1 features the ZTK Performance Package with the High Wing while inside the Adrenaline Red 3LT interior awaits with the carbon fiber trim plate, red stitching on the black leather shift boot and steering wheel, and a sueded microfiber-wrapped upper trim package which adds a luxurious feel to the 212 mph rocketship.

Your tax-deductible donations to the 2019 Corvette Dream Giveaway supports the New Beginning Children’s Homes, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides family-focused living accommodations for abused, neglected or orphaned children. The Corvette Dream Giveaway also supports a number of well-known and respected charities including Honor Flight, the National Guard Education Foundation, Smile Network International, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries and Bright Pink.
