It was nearly a year ago that the 2019 Corvette ZR1 made its world debut at the Dubai Motor Show, and now Chevy’s 755-horsepower supercar has returned to the Middle East region with its debut earlier this month at the 8th annual Qatar Motor Show.

The Sebring Orange Corvette ZR1 Coupe with the High-Wing ZTK package was displayed by Chevrolet’s exclusive dealer in Qatar, Jaidah Automotive. Also shown was the Silverado LTZ, Malibu Sport, Tahoe LTZ and the Camaro SS Convertible.

In attendance at the show was Jaidah Automotive Managing Director Bernhard Dolinek and Chevrolet General Manager Yusuf Soydas.

Yusuf Soydas said, “This is an exciting moment for Chevrolet to showcase the Corvette ZR1 to the Qatari market and have it available for sale. The Corvette ZR1’s exclusive LT5 supercharged engine establishes a new benchmark in the vehicles’ performance.”

Indeed, the ZR1 is Chevrolet’s fastest Corvette ever with a top speed of 212 mph when configured with the base wing.

Jaidah Automotive’s GM Dolinek said, “We are excited to be part of the eighth edition of QMS, as it has a new strategy behind it this year, which has a focus on innovation and sustainability, and that is a strategy we are very familiar with at Jaidah Automotive.”

He added: “As part of our internal strategy as a company, we continue delivering on our promise to customers, showcasing vehicles that portray Chevrolet’s latest innovation in safety, design, and technology and cementing our vision to be the future of mobility in Qatar.

“We also pride ourselves on continuing the Chevrolet Complete Care promise through our nationwide campaign, ‘We Will Handle It’ that is entering its third successful year, which visitors to QMS will be able to find out more about.”
