Kerbeck’s 15th Annual Toys for Tots Corvette Caravan is this Weekend!

Kerbeck’s 15th Annual Toys for Tots Corvette Caravan is this weekend and by all accounts, it looks to be a great weekend. The weather is cooperating with no rain in the forecast and a temperature expected to be in the low to mid-70s!

Kerbeck’s Dave Salvatore tells us that this is the largest registration they’ve had in the last five years with hundreds of Corvettes expected and the list is growing as we get closer to the event. In addition to entertainment by the Blitz Band, lunch will be provided by several vendors which include selections from Sack O Subs, The Baltimore Grill, Mister Softie Ice Cream and Philadelphia Soft Pretzels!

Participants this year can vie for 10 Celebrity Choice Trophies as well as trophies for Oldest Corvette, Highest Mile Corvette and Club with the most Corvettes in attendance.

Corvettes from all over will meet this Saturday morning (September 29th) at the Farley Plaza Rest Area on the Atlantic City Expressway (mile marker 20). At 11:00 AM, the celebrity judges will begin walking to around the parking area to view their favorite Corvette.

At noon, the Corvette Caravan will depart from Farley Plaza, led by the Atlantic City Police Motorcycle Patrol Team down the 20 mile stretch to Bader Field Airport in Atlantic City. Please obey all traffic laws and don’t forget to pay those tolls!

Once the caravan arrives at Atlantic City, you will be greeted by the Marine Corp Reserve League and the Kerbeck Santa Girls who will be collecting the toys. All attendees are asked to bring at least one new unwrapped toy. If batteries are required, please tape the batteries to the package.

The Corvette Racing trailer will be on the grounds, complete with the Corvette Racing simulators for you to try your luck behind the wheel of a racecar.

Door prizes are available and you can purchase additional tickets for the door prizes to increase your odds. Some of the prizes include a 2-Day Corvette Driving School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club or a set of Scrape Armor Premium Skid Plates (for 2014 -2019 Stingray or Z51 Corvettes). All attendees will also receive a commemorative dash plaque.
