Corvette Racing will be in action this weekend at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the 2018 Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix. The green flag for the race falls on Sunday at 2:05 pm EDT.
The race for the Drivers Championship got tighter last week as Dirk Mueller/Joey Hand in the No. 66 Ford GT leapfrogged over their teammates Richard Westbrook/Ryan Briscoe in the No. 67 Ford GT to lead GTLM with 147 points. Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia/Jan Magnussen are third in GTLM with 143 points while teammates Oliver Gavin/Tommy Milner are 6th with 137 points.
The team calls Canadian Tire Motorsport Park their “Home away from home” and with the bump in performance they received in the latest BoP changes, they will hopefully be very competitive on one of the fastest tracks on the IMSA schedule.
And speaking of the schedule, here’s our list of info and links to follow the boys in the Corvette Racing Yellow C7.Rs as they take on Ford, Porsche, BMW, and Ferrari. Thanks again to our friend Charley Robertson of the Corvette Racing Fans page on Facebook for these racing links to help all the Jake fans to keep up with the action at the track we will forever call Mosport!
