[PICS] Corvette Racing Undergoes Scrutineering at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

One of the highlights for residents of Le Mans is the scrutineering process that happens in the middle of town. For the uninitiated, scrutineering is the inspection process that each racecar must undergo prior to the start of race week for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

One after another, each racecar is transported downtown and they are inspected by the ACO to insure they meet the standards for their class. It’s not just the cars that undergo inspection as crew members and drivers must show their safety equipment as well.

Following scrutineering, the race teams have their official team photos taken in the town square.

Corvette Racing went through scruitineering on Monday afternoon, and thanks to social media, we can share photos from the event.
