Both Corvettes were first out the gate in the qualifying session for tomorrow’s Mobil 1 Grand Prix of Mosport. Oliver Gavin and the #4 Corvette C6.R’s time of 1:17.959 was 4th best in class while teammate Johnny O’Connell and the #3 Corvette ran a fastest lap of 1:18.309 to finish 5th. BMW of holds the top two positions finishing 1:17.528 and 1:17.657. Just -0.781 separates the top 5 positions.
The two-hour, 45-minute race is scheduled to start at 3:05 p.m. EDT on Sunday, August 30th. SPEED will televise the race live at 3 p.m. EDT.
