Cool Things Being Made - A midyear Corvette seat back. The National Association of Manufacturers has a series of documentaries aptly titled Cool Stuff Being Made and Pennsylvania-based Corvette America’s interior products factory is featured in this week’s installment. The hour-long video has an introduction by Corvette America President David Hall and then Vice President John Weaver takes us onto the 55,000 square foot factory floor where we can watch cool Corvette stuff being made. The first segment of the show features the step-by-step process for manufacturing door panels. We then see how a seventies Corvette upper dash pad is molded as well as seats and other interior items made by the company. The format might be a little long for the casual observer, but for Corvette fans interested in how reproduction Corvette parts are made, this episode of “Cool Stuff Being Made” is for you.
