Midyear Monday

Over the weekend we attended one of our favorite Florida shows, the NCRS Winter Regional at Lakeland’s Sun ‘N Fun. We’ll be doing a recap of the show with many photos, but since today is Monday and I have a camera card full of Midyears, we’re going to do a special NCRS Winter Regional Edition for our Midyear Monday photo gallery.

Many of the Corvettes you see here (especially those inside the airplane hanger) are the cream of the crop in terms of condition and originality. Those cars inside the hanger are there for Flight judging with the best cars receiving a Top Flight certificate. The rest were captured from the Corvette only parking lot as well as those for sale in the Corvette corral.

Happy New Year, Corvette lovers!

After a couple weeks of food, fun and family (and some Kentucky Bourbon!), it’s time to get back to the business of Corvettes and for me, the second generation is a great place to be. Here’s our first Midyear Monday photo gallery for 2016 and to celebrate, I even added a photo of my 1966 Corvette. You should be able to guess which one it is…

If you’d like to see your 1963-1967 Corvette featured here, feel free to send me a photo and we’ll see about posting it. The response has been good so far and as always, I appreciate your feedback.

What’s your favorite Corvette in this week’s gallery? I know which one is mine! Let us know and be sure to share this page on Twitter and Facebook.

Well, this is it! Our final Midyear Monday photo gallery for 2015 features 36 Corvettes built in the mid-1960s – hence the “midyear” moniker which has stuck for all these years.

I’d like to send out a round of thanks to those of you who submitted photos of their beloved Sting Rays for this post. I appreciated the response as it’s a great way to see some of our readers’ rides!

The bad news? It’s Monday again. The good news? It’s a 3 day work week for most of us as we prepare to overdose on turkey and football on Thursday. Need more good news? We’ve got a very special Midyear Monday this week as we present every single 1963 – 1967 Corvette that was on display at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) this past weekend in Chicago.

We’ll have much more coverage from MCACN 2015 throughout this week and next, so keep it here as we wrap up the weekend that was the windy city.

Got your own C2 photos from MCACN? Let us see ‘em on on Twitter and Facebook.

When you think of the SEMA show that just wrapped up in Las Vegas, do you think of midyear Corvettes?

While the manufacturers and aftermarket product guys usually show off their products on new C7 Corvette Stingrays and Z06s, of which we saw plenty of, C2 Corvettes are usually the domain of restorers or builders showing off their latest creations.

After spending the week at SEMA and walking the booths, display areas and parking lots, we’re pretty sure we’ve captured every single 1963-67 Corvette at the show. So here’s a special Midyear Monday photo gallery featuring the eight C2 Corvettes at SEMA:

We all know Monday’s suck more than the Detroit Lions, but that’s no reason to fret. It’s SEMA week again here at CorvetteBlogger. The SEMA show is the marque event for the automotive custom and aftermarket industry. Each year 60,000 or so attendees flock to Las Vegas to view the latest offerings from hundreds of suppliers. Countless custom rides become the show pieces on which to display the newest products and industry trends.

While our super bloggers Keith and Steve are out in fabulous Las Vegas perusing all the latest go fast bits and eye candy for your ride, we’ve got you covered with an all custom Midyear Monday gallery this week featuring 1963-1967 Corvettes adorned with custom and aftermarket goodies.

Be sure to keep it tuned here all week as we bring all sorts of content from the 2015 SEMA show.
