The National Corvette Museum’s Anniversary Celebration was held last week and one of the Corvette Team members we always appreciate hearing from is Corvette Assembly Plant Manager Kai Spande. Kai’s seminar was held live at the Corvette Museum while also being streamed to virtual registrants, and his goal was to inform customers and enthusiasts and keep us up-to-date with all the activity at the assembly plant. Now that the 2020 Corvette Convertibles are being produced and shipped to dealers, we are just now starting to see some of the various color combinations available to buyers. Because of the COVID shutdowns, the number of different colored Convertibles we have actually spied has been limited, so we’re enjoying the discovery of checking out the newest Corvette model in the 12 available colors.

We told you a few weeks ago about a challenge between the new mid-engine Corvette and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

Both vehicles feature 6.2-liter engines, but the Trackhawk’s is supercharged and makes 707 horsepower, compared to the 495 horses provided by the stock 2020 Corvette.
