Chevy released the amazing 0-60 time of 2.95 seconds for the 2015 Corvette Z06, the fastest time ever for a GM production car.
Equally as amazing is how quickly the Z06 can go from 60 to 0 mph – in 99.6 feet with the Z07 package!
Brembo is the brains behind that stellar performance, and the company recently released a neat video explaining how its carbon ceramic brake system does the trick.

Finally made it!
The theme for this year’s FunFest was “Vets with Vettes” and so not only was it great to see all the Corvettes out in the fields but to have the opportunity to talk with our nation’s veterans and see all the patriotic displays including the traveling Vietnam Veteran’s wall memorial was something we’ll never forget.

It’s time to button up Operation Air Flow. In Episode 1 we installed a CORSA carbon fiber intake on our 2009 Corvette coupe with the help of our friends at Smokey’s Dyno and Performance. Then in Episode 2 they helped us bolt on a CORSA Sport performance exhaust system. Prior to each episode we ran our C6 on the dyno at Smokey’s so we could compare the stock horsepower and torque numbers to those after each component was installed. Now it’s time to share the results.
Welcome back to Operation Air Flow where we’ll take a stock C6 and show you some easy ways to bolt on some additional power. Last week we installed a CORSA carbon fiber intake on our 2009 Corvette coupe to get more air into the LS3. This week we’ll bolt on a CORSA Sport exhaust system again with the help of our friends at Smokey’s Dyno and Performance to help get all that air out more efficiently.
