When you’re the world’s largest catalog company for Corvette parts and accessories, a revamp of your website is a very big deal. Mid America Motorworks has completely made over their website into a very functional and helpful site designed to help you identify and purchase the parts and accessories you need. New to www.mamotorworks.com are user guides, instructional videos, a community area and other helpful tips for each product.
Having spent some time perusing the new the online catalog, I found the new product pages to be most helpful. Once I was able to drill down the product categories to the individual product I was looking for, the product page showed photos of the part and I have the ability to view and zoom in to see a larger image. Information about the product tells me whether or not the part is in stock, if there is extra shipping costs, as well as the years or generation that the parts are made for.
If there are color options available for the product, for example I selected interior carpet sets for C2 Corvettes, as I would change my selection on the carpet color in a dropdown menu, the picture automatically updated to that color so I could see exactly what I was ordering. There are also tabs under the product that show the description, color swatches, technical tips and a picture of the part as it appears in Mid America’s printed catalogs.
To help you get around the site, the left side navigation column is set up so you can easily find your way to what you are looking for. The top of the nav bar features New Products, a Clearance Section, Gift Ideas and information about Corvette FunFest. Under the product categories is the Community Link, News Releases, Events and Product Videos.
If you have an account with Mid America Motorworks, you can sign in to view your order history, track packages and more.
