With the arrival of the C7 Corvette in 2013, Chevrolet added graphics of the car to the Corvette Assembly Plant’s exterior wall that faces Interstate 65. Now that the C8 Corvette is readying production, Chevrolet has given the exterior a C8 Corvette makeover with four new graphics on the wall.

A company in Ashtabula, OH has been part of the Corvette since the very beginning. It was Robert Morrison’s company called Molded Fiber Glass (MFG) that built the first fiberglass panels for the 1953 Corvette. I featured the story in my book Corvette Special Editions, and you can read a quick version of MFG’s role in building the first Corvettes at the company’s website.

A million dollars worth of Corvettes were among the victims of a deadly warehouse explosion in Houston early Friday morning.
The Corvettes were inside Houston Corvette Service, described on its website as “a premier service and restoration facility for Corvettes, in particular, and General Motors cars and trucks, generally.”

We are guests of Chevrolet this weekend for the Rolex 24 at Daytona and this evening it was officially revealed by Corvette Chief Engineer Ed Piatek that the 2020 Corvette Stingray will have an EPA fuel rating of 15 city and 27 highway MPG.

Corvette Racing’s Program Manager Doug Fehan kicked off the 2020 racing season by addressing owners and enthusiasts inside a packed Corvette Corral Friday morning following the final Rolex 24 practice session. You’re always going to learn something interesting when the good Doctor speaks and you will for sure be entertained. With the C8.R’s debut this weekend at the Rolex 24, interest in the car and the new drivers is very high and the annual Corvette Racing seminar is a great opportunity to hear from the program manager about all the new changes.
