Paul Teutul Sr and his son Paul Jr, owners of the world famous Orange County Choppers, will be heading to Scottsdale later this month with six vehicles from their personal collection to sell at the equally world famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. Included in the mix is a 1960 Fuel Injected Corvette Convertible (Lot #1320) that will be paired with a 2005 Corvette Custom Chopper (Lot #1320.1). The Corvette is Ermine White with a 283 ci 290 hp fuel injected V8 engine coupled to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The chopper is an 88 cid Knucklehead V-Twin engine containing a 5-Speed transmission that matches the Corvette’s power and grace.
“This collection expresses two of my obsessions, motorcycles and muscle cars,” said Paul Teutul Sr. “Handing over the keys to these prized possessions is going to be tough, but I think there will be some worthy candidates at the Barrett-Jackson auction. Craig Jackson and his team have created one of the most impressive automotive events on the planet, and we’re excited to be part of the action.”The Teutul’s will also be selling a 1968 Dodge HEMI Charger along with a matching Chopper, as well as two 1967 Shelby GT 500E Fastbacks. The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction begins January 13th and runs through the 21st.
