The Tampa Bay International Auto Show was in town this weekend and I decided to head down on Sunday morning to check out the Corvette display. As I walked into the Chevrolet area, the 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible was stationed in front of a large video display while crowds of people sometimes two and three deep surrounded it on each side.
I had intentions of attending the show more like a car fan and not really planning on grabbing any Corvette content other than a few cell phone pics. But as I was hanging out with the car, a Chevy Girl did a live presentation of the car and then demonstrated the roof operation which I captured with my trusty cell phone. Since I had that, I also grabbed the video presentation playing on the screen above.
The Corvette on display was one of the original Convertible reveal cars. It’s the silver Stingray with Black Nacelles and Roof, and a stunning 3LT interior featuring the Morello Red dipped interior. One of the Chevy Guys has good enough to take a few interior photos for us as well.
Here are the photos of the 2020 Corvette Stingray from the Tampa Bay Auto Show.

Great looking car. Those black wheels look terrible, get some chrome wheels now.
Did I hear her correctly? Is the C8 body now made of aluminum (with carbon fibre components) instead of fibreglass/composite?
You didn’t get my good side in the video, but funny watching it and seeing myself.
The car was great.
