[SPIED] 2020 Corvette Stingray's High Wing Seen in Public for First Time

Since the Corvette Visualizer first went online the day following the reveal of the new 2020 Corvette, enthusiasts have been building their dream Corvettes with an optional High Wing (LPO 5ZU/5ZZ).

But other than the visualizer, no real-life pics of the High Wing mounted on a Corvette existed until now.

Thanks to Jason Ostrowski for posting these two photos to the C8 Corvette Page on Facebook which show the Carbon Flash High Wing on a Torch Red Corvette Coupe:

The High Wing Spoiler is available in Carbon Flash Metallic (5ZZ) with all colors, or can be ordered in body color with Arctic White, Black, Shadow Gray Metallic and Torch Red (5ZU). As it’s an LPO Option, the Wing is installed by the dealer during Pre Delivery Inspection process.

The price for the High Wing is $1,150 in either color option.

  1. The area of the car I like the least is the rear facia, especially not fond of the standard rear spoiler. The high wing fits the car much better thankfully. Then I saw a no spoiler car…I absolutely love how clean it looks. Too bad Z51 requires a rear spoiler of some sort.

  2. That high spoiler hurts the look of the car and gets in the way of the hatch. Since it is a dealer installed option, you can always add it later.

  3. The C8 Z51 should have came with an active spoiler that tucks away when not in use like the 720s does.

  4. This should have been on display at the 2019 State Fair of Texas Auto Show. They had the previous year model, instead. Meanwhile we hear the new product was on display in Anaheim. (Now that Toyota is local to this event, they have several prototypes on display this year.)
The State Fair of Texas and 300,000 square foot auto show ends October 20, 2019.
