The 2023 Michelin NCM Bash was another great event. While the weather could have been nicer, it didn’t dampen spirits over the course of the show. People still wandered the NCM grounds both inside and out taking in everything there was to see.

We’ve already shared highlights from many of the bigger events of the weekend, so that means it’s time to move on to vanity plates! These posts have proved to be quite popular over the years so we’re happy to share our first vanity plate gallery of 2023.

As we wandered the Bash, we were reminded of just how creative and witty Corvette owners can be with their custom tags. Whether the plate refers to the car, the owner, or something else you know it’s going to be good. During our tag search we also noted how far people travelled to get to the Bash. This year we spied cars from the Carolinas, Texas, Florida, Michigan, and even Canada.

Some of our favorite plates in Bowling Green included a simple WOWW on a C8 Stingray, HEKYEAH on a C7 coupe, and ITL MOV on a 60th anniversary ZR1. BLUE C6 was attached to, well, a blue C6 convertible and 40 ZR1 was found on a 40th anniversary ZR1. ZORA 1 pays homage to our patron saint of Corvette while a silver C7 Z06 showed us some VET LUV. Finally, on Christmas morning, don’t forget to say THX SNTA for your C7 Stingray.

As you can see, Corvette owners continue to find new and creative ways to use 7 characters on their tags. Enjoy our gallery of plates from the Bash below. See your plate? Give your self a shout out in the Comments section. Have a cool plate on your ride? Post it up on our Facebook page.

We now proudly present our Corvette vanity plate gallery from the 2023 NCM Bash.

  1. I used to have vanity plates, just couldn’t justify the ridiculous cost every two yrs of $275 just to register the damn car. BS.

  2. I used to have a Jeff Gordon NASCAR vanity plate on my Corvette until I got tired of paying the extra cost for registration every year. Plus some guys I know that didn’t like Jeff Gordon would give me shit for having that plate on my car.

  3. I have had “RatedR” since 1984. It has been on 7 Corvettes. And yes, my license plate has started many a conversation.
