Here’s another fun edition of our weekly deliveries with Mike Furman. You can check out the latest new Corvette deliveries from the week with happy customers picking up their new rides at the Maryland dealership, the National Corvette Museum, and a courtesy delivery was captured as well. In addition to the C8 deliveries, we also have a fun video from last week’s car show at Haymarket, and the vintage photo collection is not to be missed. ~This is a great 2-minute video of the Frederick County Corvette Club arriving at the Vettes for Vets show yesterday morning in Haymarket, Virginia. I’ve been a member of this Corvette club for 20+ years.
~I just received my Celebrity Judge pass for the 40th annual Corvettes at Carlisle Event in today’s mail. August 25-27 Carlisle, Pennsylvania. I’ve been attending Carlisle events since Fall of 1978 and the Corvette events started in 1982. This is my 2nd year in a row as a Celebrity Judge so look for me scouring the field for my choice. I will have my new 70th anniversary White Pearl 2023 Corvette convertible on display at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain race track tent on the Midway infield just next to the GM tent.
~Watch The NASCAR races? Gotta look real close to see my name on the hood of the race car driven by Martin Truex, courtesy of Auto Owners Insurance! Tune in to Firekeepers Casino 400 this Sunday at the Michigan International Speedway to see my name zipping around the track on Martin’s #19 AO car.

~New C8 Corvette Deliveries for the week!
~Chris T. of Landon, Wisconsin factory ordered his Amplify Orange 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe from me and last week he had the red carpet rolled out for his Museum delivery in Bowling Green, KY. Chris’s Z51 is equipped with GT2 buckets, body color accents, and 2LT pkg. I’m sure a great time was had by all!
~Peter and Julia F. of Macon, North Carolina had owned a C7 and placed their order with me for a C8. The wait was worth it to them! Last night they drove up from North Carolina and stayed locally so they could take delivery this morning of their Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette Z51 convertible with Sky cool gray interior and their new Corvette is fully loaded! Smiles all around and they will for sure be wearing perma-grins for a long time.
A note after they arrived home “We made it home. What a great vehicle and a overall “painless process”. It’s crystal clear why you are ranked #1. THANK YOU for a great experience!

~Robert R. of Woodstock, Maryland was referred to me by his friends seen in the picture as this is Robert’s very first Corvette! Robert ordered a Red Mist metallic 2023 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Natural interior. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, edge red calipers, Z51 pkg and much more. Robert was really looking forward to his first drive and was excited to navigate his way back to Western Maryland.
~Bill L. of Myrtle Point, Oregon factory ordered his Amplify Orange 2023 Corvette Z51 Convt from me and today he took delivery at the Museum in BG, KY. Equipment list: 1LT pkg, CF nacelles and top, black exhaust tips, CF mirrors/Spoiler and much more.
~Arnold C. of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey had me factory order his new Hypersonic gray 2023 Corvette convertible with two tone Sky cool gray interior and yesterday he took delivery at the corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY. Smiles all the way around and he is thrilled to own this world class sports car!
~Steven M. of Lynden, Washington ordered his new Torch Red 2023 Corvette Z51 convertible from me and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealership in Seattle, Washington. Steve didn’t let the 2,900 miles between us to get in his way of making this deal happen. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, Natural/black two tone interior, GT2 buckets, stealth interior trim, front lift, black exhaust tips, CF painted wheels and much more.

“Really impressed so far. It’s better in almost every way from my 2017 Porsche 911. I need to get it on the track for that comparison to the Porsche, but I did not expect it to be a better car than the Porsche so far” Steve M.
~Tom P. of Ellicott City, Maryland and his family have been buying Corvettes and trucks from me since 1988! I’ve probably delivered close to 30 corvettes to his whole family in the past 4 decades. Today Tom took delivery of a new Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette coupe with the CF high wing spoiler, black wheels, yellow calipers and yellow seat belts. Tom traded in his Mercedes AMG SUV. Next week his son picks up a new Corvette that was built a week behind Tom’s.
~Sam and Lisa S. of Olney, Maryland were in and out in less than 20 minutes so I forgot to take their picture with their new 2022 Blue Glow Equinox. They Lease a new vehicle every three years from me not to mention their family vehicles they purchase from me here at Criswell Auto of Gaithersburg, MD.

I bought my very first new car at Jim Mckay in 1971 (we won’t talk about what it was – Vega). I loved the concept but the execution was horrible. I worked with his son for a while. I am now on my 2nd Corvette a 2011 JSB Grand Sport that I purchased as my retirement gift to myself. I then drove it from Denver to Chicago and did my bucket list tour of old Rt-66 from Chicago to Monterey. I wish I could afford a C8 and have entered every raffle since introduction as I cannot afford the payments on my retirement income. The C6 will have to keep me happy until I win one of the raffles.
My favorite is the bright red 81 Corvette.

Hi Mike, I like the c3 police vehicle. My friend Jim Quinlin last year talked about ordering a c8.I told him you were the best person to contact to place an order. Wow, a year later and he’s hoping to pick his up at the museum in the near future. Maybe in the near future we can meet again at one of Norm’s events. Bruce Brungard. [email protected]
