Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It’s Mike’s first delivery post since attending the Corvettes at Carlisle show and he starts off this Delivery Dispatch by sharing many photos of friends who were also in attendance. And because he was off last week, he has a ton of new Corvette deliveries to share with pics and many of the options selected by the new owners. Not only does Mike offer deliveries at his dealership in Maryland, but he does Courtesy Shipping to your local Chevy dealer, as well as NCM R8C deliveries, and he can ship directly to your driveway. ~My only brother owned a very successful Window Replacement company and one day a gentleman that was a Professor of Business at a NY College wanted to hire his Services but before doing so asked for references. Scott gave him a book of 10,000 customers names and said "call anyone you’d like". He was hired on the spot. The Professor was impressed and brought this story up one day in his Business class without using Scott’s name or business. After relaying that story in his class three people stood up and said that you must be talking about Scott Furman and Northern Windows as their parents/family had the same experience/story. He has been gone almost 11 years but some of the lessons learned from him are still present for me every day.

I have now sold and delivered 5,150+ Corvettes and 8,000 other vehicles over the last 44 years and I guarantee most all would have had a good experience. Now I have yet to meet a perfect person so I most certainly have had some unsatisfied customers along the way, In the movie "The Accountant" there is a line by the hitman brother, he says "I love it when someone else tries to tell me how to do my job" I recently was at the Corvettes at Carlisle event for 3 days and for three days straight 12 hours per day I was on my feet talking Corvettes, the old, the new and the future. That to me is fun because I get to meet up with folks from around the globe that share the same passion, Corvettes. If you notice in my Corvette delivery pictures you rarely see me in them, that is because it’s all about the customer and their new Corvette. I capture those moments for them and their family.

~Met up with some great folks, both old friends and new that I had never met before at the Corvettes at Carlisle Event. If you’ve never been…it’s a must attend event.

~My 2021 Red Mist Corvette Convt Speed Shape gifted “frog” arrived from GM. Looks good next to my Blade Silver 2020 Corvette coupe Speed Shapes or “frog” from last year!

~C8 Deliveries this week…Hang on to your hat, there are many!

~Steven and Joyce C. Split time between Jupiter, Florida and Ramsey, NJ and get ready for the 6 degrees of Mike Furman. Their NJ next door neighbor is a guy that I’ve known since birth. Their Florida neighbors were talking with Steve after their order went through and the neighbors said they graduated high school with me and flipped out when they found out that’s who Steve and Joyce ordered their Corvette from. Then today Steve said his high school shop teacher from 1973 was a great Wrestling coach and I know him very well so I emailed Bill and he wrote back immediately! Plus Steve bought his Corvettes from Konner Chevrolet and his Corvette club put on all the Corvette shows at Malcolm Konner Chevrolet! Today they traded their 2017 Silver/Blue GS Convt and took delivery of their Red Mist 2021 Corvette Convt with Natural dipped interior! Stunning to say the least. Good morning Mike,
“Joyce and I truly enjoyed our 6 degree separation conversations yesterday. Your attention to detail throughout the ordering cycle and delivery process was exceptional. We took the 270 / 15 route home through Gettysburg which was really a nice way back to Ramsey. Unfortunately one of your Maryland Troopers decided to write me up only 35 miles from Criswell – oh well Nevertheless it was a great ride – we did go through periods of rain and the "wet" mode was definitely noticeable. I know you’ll recognise the comparison to my first Corvette delivered new in January 1981 at Malcolm Konner. What a difference 40 years of Corvette Engineering has brought to the C8. From a never could find the right speed 4+3 seeking auto to the amazing 8 Speed DCT. The ride is so nice and you were right … 100 feet outside of Criswell you notice quickly that this is an entirely new driving experience. Rob Rottengen wasn’t home but I’ll see him shortly and give him your best regards. Rob Roller came over and loved the car. He says hi. See picture under my 67 NCRS Coupe. Well I just dropped the car off at EuroTech for the Xpel, window tint and ceramic coating. They really liked the fact we did the TracWrap for the ride home. I helped her navigate this Corvette order from A-Z and Diana could not have been happier with the final choices.

~Craig and Stephanie M. of Saginaw, Texas factory ordered their Torch Red 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe fully loaded including taking delivery at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Craig and Stephanie are Lifetime members (like me) of the National Corvette Museum. I’ve met up with Craig several times over the last few years at the Museum Bash held in the end of April. Craig truly built a fantastic combo with his 3LT Black interior, red stitching and red seat belts.

~Shane N. of Kingston, New York bought his 2019 Z06 from me and this morning he took delivery of his Rapid Blue 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe. Shane and his Father in law Richard took a morning flight and a quick 35 minute Uber to Criswell Chevrolet. Super impressed with his new mid engine Corvette, I had them turned around and headed North for the 320 mile ride home in no time flat. ..email from Shane tonight ”Thanks for the pics it was a pleasure meeting you. ~Art R. of Sarasota, Florida placed his factory order for a Red Mist 2021 Corvette Convertible and yesterday he flew in and today arrived with his granddaughter (first ride!), daughter and son in law. Art gifted me a dozen golf balls with the Coca Cola logo. This is Art’s 5th Corvette and was looking forward to putting some miles on his new Corvette!

~Butch and Darlene J. of Saint Charles, Missouri found me on the internet and were very appreciative for all my assistance throughout the Corvette ordering process. This past Saturday they took delivery of their factory ordered fully loaded Red Mist 2021 Corvette Convt at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. ~Charles J. of Sugar Grove, Illinois placed his Factory order for his new Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 Convt and checked the R8C option. This past Saturday was their special day and the red carpet was rolled out for them from the start of the process throughout the afternoon.

~Bruce L. of Glassboro, New Jersey spent the 1970’s racing foreign cars and even held a National record in the 1975 timeframe so he is quite accomplished behind the wheel of fast cars but this is his first foray into the Corvette world. Bruce factory ordered a Red Mist 2021 Corvette coupe with Black interior and the red stitching. He is looking forward to seeing what the mid engine Corvette is capable of and will certainly make it out to Spring Mountain as he knew Ron Fellows 45 years ago!

~Bob S. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida found me on the forums years ago as he has been a Corvette guy since 1965 when he purchased his very first New Corvette! He touched base with me to place his factory order for an Arctic White 2021 Corvette Convertible with Adrenaline red interior and CF painted Top and Nacelles along with the sterling silver trident wheels…and speaking of wheels, Bob owns House of Wheels.

~Giovanni P. of Barto, Pennsylvania was referred to me by Al and Andrea Fuller and check out his incredible new Corvette! Arctic White 2021 Corvette Z51 convertible with almost every available option! Black Competition seats with red stitching. Today was a glorious day to drive home his very first Corvette. Give Giovanni a big Corvette wave! Thanks to Dad for driving him down the 190 miles to Criswell Chevrolet.

~Ken H. of Fairfax Station, Virgina has owned a C6 and C7 and today he drove home his factory ordered C8. Check out his Red Mist 2021 Corvette Coupe with Sky cool gray interior. Ken’s wife Terry dropped him off and I’m sure Ken listened to the song “Take the long way home” for his 1st C8 ride.

~ Marcus J. of Colonial Heights, Virginia owns a C5 and today he added a C8 to his garage. Marcus ordered an Arctic White 2021 Corvette coupe with Adrenaline red interior and had the Criswell service department add the high wing spoiler. The three hour ride home will be a breeze in his new mid engine beauty.

~Bernie M. of Chester, NY has a beauty of a 1965 Corvette at home and now he owns a stunning Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Sky cool gray/Black interior.
Next up a quick 300 mile ride home to Chester, NY.

~David L. of Bristol, Vermont has owned a C2 and a few C4’s and still owns a C6 Z06 and a C7 Z51…today he and his wife drive home to Vermont his factory ordered Rapid Blue 2021 Corvette coupe with Black interior and tension blue seat belts. The transparent top shows off the interior really well!

~Jay G. of Hollywood, Florida has bought a Corvette from me in the past and this time he will have his new C8 enclose shipped via Plycar South to Florida. Jay ordered a Torch Red 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Adrenaline Red/black interior. Very well loaded with all the goodies! Jay will soon have his new drop top Corvette at his Hollywood home.

~Robert B. of El Dorado Hills, California factory ordered his new Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible to be prepped by the service department here at Criswell Chevrolet and today Plycar trucking loaded it for the enclosed trailer trip West 2,900 miles to his California home. Stunning from top to bottom and loaded with most every option.
