Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
It’s been another fantastic week for Mike Furman and those customers who entrusted their new Corvette orders to the top-selling Corvette salesman. Mike shares 19 deliveries this week which he even admits is a blistering pace, but seeing all those happy faces at the end is totally worth it. ~My former employer back in the 80’s…Malcolm Konner opened his first automobile dealership, selling DeSotos, Plymouth’s, and GMC trucks, in 1935. Only 21 years old at the time, Malcolm was following in the footsteps of his father, who opened his first dealership in 1903. In 1955, Malcolm became a Chevrolet dealer, and for almost 30 years (1964-1994) Malcolm Konner Chevrolet sold more Corvettes than anyone else in the world. This Commemorative Edition Corvette recognized that accomplishment, and it represents the one and only time GM honored a dealer in this way. “ Only fifty (50) 1986 Malcolm Konner Commemorative Edition Corvettes produced by Chevrolet. The Konner family donated a 1986 MK Edition to the National Corvette Museum 3 decades ago. I visit it every year.

~Forest B. of Jacksonville, Oregon took the red carpet ride option at the National Corvette Museum for his factory order. ~David and Sandy E. of Woodbine, Maryland were referred to me for their 8th Corvette purchase. They took delivery today of a Torch Red 2021 Corvette coupe with red interior and traded in their 2014 Corvette with 69,900 miles! ~Keith T. of Lafayette, California factory ordered his Torch Red 2021 Z51 Corvette coupe to be drop shipped at his local Chevrolet dealer in Dublin, CA. ~Tom T. of Holcombe, Wisconsin felt his best experience buying a new Corvette would be by calling me and starting the process. ~This past Wednesday the 28th I played in a Golf Tourney in Princeton, NJ. It must be about the 25th year that I have played in the NCAA College Wrestling Hall of Fame Golf outing for Charity. Next to me is my High School Wrestling Coach, still going strong at 78 years young.
~The Corvette Furman school out at Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race track in Pahrump, Nevada has been popular over the last 7 years… so I am doing three classes this Fall. Each class has 20 of my Corvette customers from around the world and Spring Mountain is a terrific venue to learn more about your new C8 Corvette. 7 Pro Instructors in each class teach you how to best drive your C8. I have 3 daughters and 3 grandsons. Daughter #2 and grandson#3 are living in Houston Texas. My 1st Corvette will be a C8, 3LT any color except black
Are you selling them at factory prices or are you marking them up?
The pictures of the blue metal flake custom 68 Coupe and the green 73 Coupe are my favorites. I wish the pics hadn’t been cut off so you could see the whole cars.
That silver 1969 coupe viewed from the right rear is an interesting one. At first glance it appears to be a 69 upgraded with 1970 fender flares. But it still has the smaller 1969 side marker lamps. Then there’s the unique chrome bezels around the exhaust pipe openings. They are rounded like in 69 but wider to accommodate 2 pipes, not squared like 70-73. That, plus the European license plate, makes me wonder if it was one of the “specials” done by the design studio for friends in high places.
