You can’t order a new 2022 Corvette Stingray just yet, but we are getting closer.
That’s the takeaway from a new report from our friends at the CorvetteActionCenter.com who shared images of the 2022 Corvette ordering screens that are now showing on GM’s internal workbench ordering system.
The screenshots show all the options available for both the Coupe and the Convertible models and with the 3LT trim group selected, the default equipment is check-marked in blue. We also spot the new options for the 2022 model year: RPO ZCR is the IMSA GTLM Championship C8R Edition while TVS designates the new Low Rear Spoiler and Front Splitter.
Chevrolet is expected to open orders for the 2022 model year sometime in July with dealers receiving their first allocations just prior to the first order cycle. Full pricing for the 2022 Corvette options has yet to be released, but Chevy has already announced a $1,200 increase for the model year while and the special edition C8.R edition package will cost you $6,595 on top of a 3LT/Z51 model.

I feel like this is yet another promise Barra Motors is gonna break all over again.
There seems to be just no consumer confidence at all. How is she gonna appease those whose orders were effed over because their order status wasn’t 3000 or above??? How is she gonna bring back those orders and tell them, “But it’s now $1,200 over what you originally put down for?” Sometimes, I feel like she’s that snob in high school who says, “Well, toooo baaaad…”
She is just like the rest of the upper management idiots, it’s all about the money
Why take new orders when they haven’t delivered those allocations from 2020. Let’s get the back order cleaned up before we move forward.

Sounds great except when would I get it (if ever) and how much would it cost over MSRP?
Doesn’t mean squat if GM doesn’t get their shit together with suppliers and such. Their most popular car and people have to go through way to much bs to get one.
No guide at my dealer today (6/21/21). I was there and they looked. I saw the inquiry and said no data available.
