One of the reasons why I’m not on Facebook as often as I used to be is that every time I’m on the social media site, I get sucked into watching those start-to-end project videos like that woodworking Corvette project we shared a couple weeks back. However, I can always appreciate an artisan at work, and so we’re going to share this video of a 1981 Corvette getting a repaint by “Custom Z Warriorz” in Japan.
The YouTube video’s description is a little wonky and were not sure if the shop painted the car for someone else’s daughter, or if the guy was painting the car for his own daughter. Basically, someone’s daughter in Japan got a hot metallic pink Corvette for her 21st birthday and this is how it was done.

Hmmmm. They painted the car over bondo without primer/sealer. Brilliant. be sure to avoid this paint shop if you were in Japan ;-!
