Today’s round-up features a bevy of new Corvette being delivered to happy customers at the Maryland dealership, the National Corvette Museum, and at customer’s local dealers. ~Super Bowl Sunday…When I wrestled for Univ. of Maryland each year on Super Bowl Sunday we were scheduled to Wrestle Penn State which meant a 3 .5 hour car ride in the snow…and not in Corvettes. We took the University supplied vehicles…Chevrolet station wagons which were so big they had a different zip code front and back…or if it was a Home match Penn State would Bus down 6,000 fans to drown out our 3,000 fan base. Snow was always falling…much like today which means another Sunday that I won’t take my Corvette for a ride.

~The Corvette Black Book has certainly evolved over the decades. Gary Konner of Malcolm Konner Chevrolet was my Boss back in the 1980’s and he gifted me my very first Black book in 1978. I remember asking him how did he know the year of a Corvette from far away etc. Clearly Gary grew up around Corvettes but he felt the Black book would help me out. I studied it each year as I always was a facts and figures guy. The current 2021 Corvette Black book can be bought at the National Corvette Museum and its well worth the purchase for any Corvette enthusiast. Here I am 43 years later… still leaning on this book!

~From the picture archives(65,000+ in my collection)…mid C4 generation photo from behind the Corvette plant in BG, KY. Corvette spelled out in back lot of Corvette plant circa 1986 approx. This year marks the 40th year of Corvettes being built in Bowling Green, KY…GM should do this with the C8’s and sell the poster for charity…I know a couple of pilots in KY…and they know how to get there!

~John and Erin L. of Berlin, Maryland bought their Shark Gray 2015 Corvette from me and this time they opted for Corvette Museum delivery in Bowling Green, KY! Their new stunning Red Mist metallic 2021 Corvette Convertible was on full display until they drove off into the sunny afternoon . Fantastic family as I’ve spent some time with them at the Ocean City Corvette show that their Corvette club puts on every year. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, Black interior, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, Silver Trident wheels, red seat belts and red stitching.

I followed their 700 mile ride home on FB as they posted up some great pictures along the way.

~Cathy L. of Santa Maria, California factory ordered her new Sebring Orange 2021 Corvette convertible to be drop shipped for courtesy delivery at her local Chevrolet dealer in Santa Maria, California. Equipment list: Sky cool gray interior, 2LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, Z51, and much more. This color combo is dynamite.

~Mike H. of Chandler, Arizona factory ordered his Red Mist metallic tintcoat 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible to be drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealer in Phoenix, Arizona. The 2 tone Natural interior looks great and makes for a great combo with Red Mist. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, front lift, CF instrument trim, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, spectra gray wheels, Z51 pkg and much more. MH is very happy with the numbers this Corvette puts out and Red is the magic color.

~Ed M. of Scottsdale, Arizona was referred to me and ordered a 2020 Z51 coupe in Arctic White with Natural dipped interior. I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to his local Chevrolet dealer in Phoenix, AZ a few months ago so he could take delivery close to home. Equipment list: front lift, 3LT pkg, magnetic ride, sterling silver wheels, engine appearance pkg and Z51 pkg.

~Dave S. of Annapolis, Maryland wanted to share the delivery with his son Dan who resides in New Jersey so yesterday was delivery day instead of last Saturday. Now they both own the new Corvette as Dave included Dan on the Title as well! Super nice folks and members of the Annapolis Corvette Club. I attend their annual Corvette shows and always enjoy all of their club members and events. ~Joe F. of Oro Valley, Arizona factory ordered his new Red Mist metallic 2021 Corvette Convertible and experienced Corvette Museum delivery this week in Bowling Green, KY. I arranged Plycar trucking to enclose ship his new Corvette to his Arizona home. The red carpet was rolled out and he enjoyed his time in and around the National Corvette Museum. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, Natural interior, GT2 seats, front lift, magnetic ride, performance exhaust and splash guards. Joe is a super nice guy and should receive his new Corvette at his AZ home by Tuesday…Let the fun begin.

~Fred B. of Swedesboro, New Jersey special ordered his new Ceramic Matrix Gray metallic 2021 Corvette Coupe with Adrenaline red interior. Another NJ Corvette customer referred Fred to me and yesterday he made the 2 hour ride down so that he could take delivery at Criswell. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, Z51 pkg, transparent top, front lift, CF painted wheels, Red engine cover, CF painted mirrors,engine appearance pkg, red seat belts and he had our service department install the C8 corvette hood decal and fender stripes.

~The Frank Class Corvette barn find and throw back section. Post up your favorite(s).

My first Corvette was a 1959 and my 2nd was a 1961…both Black with Red interior and dual quads 245HP.
