One of the cool personalized options that C8 Corvette owners can choose is to have a personalized interior plaque with your name that is displayed inside the car.
You can order one as a standalone option with option BV4 which will cost an additional $200. That version is the plaque at the top of the photo. Buyers who opt for the R8C Museum Delivery will automatically receive the plaque on the bottom which features the NCM logo.
The new personalized plaques are actually mounted to the “waterfall speaker” that is located behind and between the driver and passenger seats:
We spoke with Corvette seller Mike Furman of Criswell Chevrolet who provide some of the order details for the personalized plaques. According to Mike, you can have 24 characters including spaces on your plaque, and you can also choose to whether you want your name displayed in all caps or just the first letter in caps.
Mike also tells us that you are not limited to just your name and that he’s seen previous dash plaques with the owner’s forum name, nicknames, slogans, and other witty sayings.
The personalized plaques are a fun way to add your name or other info your new C8 Corvette and the BV4 option is very affordable. Do you have a personalized plaque coming on your new 2020 Corvette Stingray? Let us know in the comments below.

I’ll be doing museum delivery, so yeah cool.
I provided the details for my plaque earlier today. I chose the R8C Museum delivery option. The whole process is great. Even though I had been through the Museum and toured the assembly plant several times before, I first did a Museum Delivery on my 2015 ZO6. Since I’m also a video producer, we chronicled the whole event. If you’ve never experienced a delivery, you can watch this short video we put together a little over four years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9VeVkxxBZo
I’m simply going with personalization
“Built for Jeremy Welborn”
To each his own, but I see it as a waste of $200 unless you plan on owning the car forever
My 2020 Stingray has gone to production how do I get this added to the car build? And what does it take to pickup at the R8C Museum?
