Build and Price the 2020 Corvette Stingray Coupe

We’ve all spent more than a few minutes on the Corvette Visualizer as we’ve spec’d out various versions of the 2020 Corvette Stingray. It’s great fun seeing how your changes were updated in real-time and then spinning the car around at all angles to view. But what’s been lacking is that none of your configurations contained a summary of the actual price based on all the options you selected.

The good news is that you can now build and price a new 2020 Corvette Stingray Coupe at Chevrolet.com. Just the coupe, though we expect the Convertible will be added soon.

We’ve spent more than a few minutes on the 2020 Stingray build and price configurator and it’s very fast, but doesn’t offer the viewing options of the visualizer. But that’s okay because the pricing is updated in real-time.

We saw some websites posting their configurations and we wanted to see what kind of damage we could do to our fictional bank account. We built this 2020 Corvette Stingray in Long Beach Red for $107,310 and I would have added the “Pick Your Own” VIN option for an additional $5,000 if it would have let me. It’s sort of a ridiculous build though in the fact that I upgraded to the most expensive factory wheels and then selected another set of LPO wheels. And you can never have enough car covers (both indoor and outdoor) plus the 5-piece luggage set!

Still, it was a fun exercise and I challenge you to beat it!

  1. The C8 options remain relatively “inexpensive” when compared to Porsche and Ferrari. For the privilege of a certain Porsche GT2RS interior package, be prepared to shell out $35K. Or, if you’re “lucky” enough to receive a Porsche “paint-to-sample” PTS allocation…the cost is $12K for a custom color of your choice. Even if you were to order a C8 at $107K (not that you would), in today’s mid-engine market…it’s a great bargain. However, I do agree…it is a fun activity. ?
