Our friend Jeremy Welborn explores the new 2020 Corvette Stingray at the Friday ‘Echo’ presentation by the Corvette Team at the Tustin Blimp Hangar #2 in California.

Starting at the rear, the camera closely pans along the rear fascia before he opens the rear hatch and explores the rear storage area that you can see is holding the painted Targa top. From there we get a great look at the carbon fiber-dressed engine compartment as well as the 9mm glass that separates the cockpit from the engine compartment.

He moves down the side of the car, pausing to look at the Z51 brakes (notice the Z51 rotors are smooth) before taking a good long look inside the Corvette Stingray’s scoop.

We get a look at what’s under the frunk and that storage area is large and very deep.

Finally Jeremy pans around to the passenger side and is able to show the interior, dash cluster and other elements that really make this part of the car shine. We see the GT2 seats with the carbon fiber trim and that Sky Cool Gray interior looks great against the Elkhart Lake Blue exterior.

The video is a quick 5:30 minutes long so make sure you check it out!

  1. the targa top “hid” the rear storage, but the front storage is bigger than I originally thought. It will hold a couple of suitcases and my computer bag. This is growing on me, but I’m still 2-3 years out as they work out the kinks and I save my money!

  2. Wow! The C-8 is a masterpiece of engineering!
Thank you for the close-up detailed pictures!
