Happy Black Friday Corvette Peeps!
Hopefuly Corvette owners are driving their rides around today as it’s Drive Your Corvette to Work Day. Since I work at home, I took off just after lunch and drove my 1966 Corvette down to one of my favorite picture locations in Tampa so I would have a fresh “Black Friday” photo. Killed two birds with one stone in that drive! You’ll find it at Number 42. Number 43 is me as well and that pic I took last Saturday.
June is always a special month for Corvette owners. Today on June 28th, workers started building the first 1953 Corvettes in Flint, MI and the first completed cars rolled off that temporary assembly line on June 30th which is Corvette’s official anniversary.
And speaking of June anniversaries, my 1966 Corvette officially left the dealership with my dad 53 years ago tomorrow!
Today is the final Friday of June so here is our Black Friday photo gallery that shows a bit of the Corvette’s dark side! We got 50 Corvette photos to share from all eight generations!
Several Black Corvette photos were also submitted and we have them featured here. The photo below is a 2019 Corvette ZR1 offered by our friend James Fillmore of Les Stanford Chevrolet. If you’re interested in owning one of the final Black ZR1s, contact him today at (313) 608-8547!
