I can appreciate where you all come from because at one time or another I have been many of those types due to Life’s experiences/age. My next Corvette purchase will be my 19th that I have owned. Some years I have been able to attend many Corvette events and others not so much. In the last Decade or so I have been fortunate enough to travel more and truly get the heartbeat of the Corvette Nation. ~Ken V. Of Crownsville, MD placed his order for an Elkhart Lake Blue 2019 ZR1 and it’s his very first Corvette. Can you imagine jumping into the Corvette world with 755HP! Pretty darn cool. What a way to start! Ken’s new ZR1 has a 7 spd manual transmission, 3ZR Pkg, Battery maintainer, Satin Graphite Black Wheels, Black interior and Blue stitching which matches the standard Blue calipers and Elkhart Lake Blue paint perfectly. This is ZR1 # 1356. Ken most certainly took the long way home ala the Supertramp song.

For the life of me I can not understand why so many people are wanting black wheels that is a no sale for me. My 2019 GS Torch red, red int Heritage Package White strip’s orange hash marks and of coarse CROME wheels. Yes I know old school like me LOL. P S I wonder if all these black wheels might be hard to sell down the road? Up in Canada they call it Black Wheels with Summer Tires!
I meant to say up in Canada the car guys call them Winter wheels with summer tires!

I am a Western New York Corvette owner and I agree with Barry. Black wheels are for police patrol vehicles and also wear Blizzaks on our winter beaters.
I took delivery of my 2018 Z06 Black Rose Convert (one of 12) a few months ago with the Alum Pearl wheels and love them. Not flashy like chrome or dull like the black. They do show the brake dust.
Sorry Greg on the spelling I only went to grade 10 but went to work at 18 and payed cash all my life for all the G M cars I have owned (almost hundred thousand for our 19) and no I did not work at G M. Barry.
