Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Dec. 2nd

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

In this week’s post, Mike highlights three new Corvettes going to customers in Florida including an Arctic White Corvette ZR1 featuring the base low wing and a new Elkhart Blue Z06 is courtesy delivered in Ft. Myers. The semi-famous red Callaway Aerowagen was sold to a lady who already owns a black Aerowagen! ~Mid Engine Corvette…It’s the Pink Elephant in the room. First talked about By Zora Arkus Duntov and his team over 60 years ago. I spent many a Summer at the Malcolm Konner Corvette Show speaking with Zora Duntov (1978-1989) about all things Corvette. His usual stock answer was "rumors sell magazines, not cars." Well…there is so much writing on the wall that by this time next year the 2020 Mid Engine Corvette should be on the streets all over the USA. So many questions and so few answers from GM but when the reveal does happen I am sure the GM media machine will be well prepared for this World Class Automobile debut. In 1979 there were 53,807 Corvette cpe’s built (most ever in one year) and I think GM has targeted that production level. Time will tell. ~Bobby G. of Lake Mary, Florida was referred to me by Roger Judski the longtime owner (since 1965) of Roger’s Corvette Center in Maitland, Florida. Bobby special ordered a stunning Arctic White 2019 ZR1 Cpe and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at a Chevrolet dealer near him in Sanford, FL. Bobby opted for Adrenaline Red Competition Sport Seats, Red calipers, 7 Spd manual transmission, carbon flash painted wheels, Performance air intake, 3ZR Pkg, and carbon wheel center caps with crossed flags logo. ~Dave B. of Cape Coral, Florida has bought 4 C7 Z06’s from me since 2015! This time he called me up and I gave him a sight unseen trade value for his 2018 Jaguar F type 400 Sport with only 888 miles on the odometer. His new 2019 Z06 Convt got built and shipped for courtesy delivery to his local Chevrolet dealer in Ft Myers, Florida within 4 weeks! I had him enclose ship his Jaguar up to Criswell once his new Z06 was produced. Dave and I met thru the various forums and we met up in person several years in a row at the April Bash in KY at the Corvette Museum. Dave ordered the new Elkhart Lake Blue with Blue top and gray Competition Seats. Equipment list includes: Visible carbon fiber ground effects, carb fiber Instrument panel, 7 spd manual transmission, chrome wheels, microfiber seat inserts and 3LZ Pkg. I’m sure Dave will look to keep it until the 8th Generation Corvette begins production.

~Jay G. of Hollywood, Florida called me 7 weeks ago as he follows me on the Forums. Jay placed an order for a Race Yellow 2019 Z06 Convt loaded up! I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealer. As you can see from the pics Jay is replacing his red Stingray Convt..Jay’s new Yellow Z06 Convt has a black top, Black Competition Seats, yellow stitching, Black Wheels with yellow stripe, Visible Carbon fiber hood insert, visible carbon fiber ground effects Pkg, carbon fiber Instrument panel, J57 carbon ceramic brakes, yellow calipers, 7Spd manual trans, CF painted mirrors, 3LZpkg and much more. This Corvette is a car show all by itself!

~If having one Callaway Aerowagen isn’t enough…why not two? Ms April M. Of Frederick, MD bought the Black Callaway here at Criswell and had the Aerowagen conversion done after viewing the Red one at the Carlisle show. So then the very famous Red Aerowagen came up for sale by Callaway she decided to buy it and enjoy both of them! She completed the sale at Criswell last week as Chris Chessnoe of Callaway handed her the keys and she drove off into the sunset. We happen to belong to the same Corvette Club based out of Frederick, MD so I’m sure to see the pair on display thru out various Maryland Corvette club events. BIG Congrats to the owner of two very special Callaway Corvettes.

~Other vehicles that I delivered this week…

~Elena and Bill purchased a new Corvette from me in September 2009! This week Elena picked out of stock this beauty of a Red Jeep Wrangler. In their own words: "Thanks for helping Elena and me make a great decision about our new Wrangler. You kindly had the two Jeeps we wanted to test drive set up so we could select the one we liked best (neither of us had previously driven a Wrangler). We both are extremely pleased with our Sahara. Every time we buy a new vehicle we will contact you!"

Igor F. has bought several family vehicles from me since 2009.

Mike H. has bought several Corvettes from me since 2009…his Spring Corvette purchase was my #4,000 Corvette delivery. Finally got him away from Ford trucks to a brand new Silverado.

Deane C. of Terrebonne, Oregon received his 2019 Watkins Glen Gray Z06 Convt via Plycar Trucking and it’s tucked safely in his Oregon garage paired with a beauty of a C2.
