Devil in Green: Geiger’s 890 hp biTURBO Corvette Z06

Roughly a year ago, we were going gaga over German-based Geigercars Corvette Z06 Black Edition which upped the horsepower of the already potent LS7’s stock 505 horsepower to 592. It seems lately that tuners can’t get enough horsepower or so Geiger installed a couple of turbos on the now venerable Z06 and painted it neon green to make sure people see it coming. The result? Geigercar’s 890 horsepower biTURBO Corvette Z06.

The biTURBO is more than just a Z06 with twin-turbos. The package starts with increasing total displacement from 7.0 to 7.6 liters. Upgraded cylinder heads, valve springs, and cams were added as well as a less restrictive exhaust system. The rear wheels were upsized to 345/25s and adjustable coilover shocks and larger brakes helps keep the Corvette firmly planted to the road. To handle the additional horsepower, the drivetrain was beefed up with a new twin-disc clutch and a carbon fiber driveshaft.

Performance-wise this all ads up to 890 horsepower and 694 lb-ft torque and a reported top speed of 220 mph!

In addition to the performance upgrades, Geiger tops off the project with their body kit finished in a bright neon green with a black hood and roof. We particularly like the black headlights which adds a sinister look to a Corvette. We’d move over for sure if we saw it approaching in our rear view mirror.
