If you’re looking for a wide body C7, the folks at Forgiato have a couple of 2014 widebody Stingrays ready for you – a blue coupe and a yellow convertible.
You can even buy the convertible now on eBay but get prepared to open your wallet. This very special Stingray will set you back $150,000 at the “Buy It Now” price.
Well, one thing you can say for sure about this way-out-there, wide-body Corvette Stingray is that everyone will have an opinion about it – even your grandma!
It’s supposedly the widest (and maybe wildest) C7 convertible in the world, according to the fellow who posted a bunch of photos of his friend’s one-of-a-kind Stingray on Corvette Forum late last month.
We’ve been believers in Forgiato’s widebody Corvette Stingrays since they first broke onto the scene at the 2013 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Since then, we’ve been treated to many different flavors in addition to the Aston Martin Blue Coupe that won SEMA’s Design Award for Best Chevrolet Exterior.
The latest widebody on display was posted on Forgiato’s Facebook page last week and shows a bright yellow Corvette wearing 22-inch Forgiato Lavorato ECL wheels that are colored-matched to the new Stingray.
One of the hottest designs to come out of the 2013 SEMA Show was the Forgiato widebody Corvette Stingray. While previous SEMA shows have featured redesigned or rebodied Corvettes as show cars or pre-production concepts, the Forgiato widebody seems to have real staying power as more individuals are emulating the design with their own cars.
Previous Forgiato C7 widebodys have been featured in some rather unique exterior colors like Aston Martin Blue and Tangelo Orange, but we found this Forgiato Stingray on eBay painted in one of the factory colors – Arctic White.

No other Corvette garnered as much attention at last year’s SEMA Show than the Forgiato Widebody C7 Stingray. Not only did the crowds love it, but SEMA’s judges gave it the design award for best Chevrolet exterior.
It appears that others took notice of the C7 widebody and the crowds it generated. Today, we got this new picture from the automotive imagery experts at Gurnade who rendered this C7 Widebody for a potential project for the 2014 SEMA Show.
If you’re not satisfied with the looks and performance of the standard Corvette Stingray and the upcoming Z06 model, then SuperVettes might be the place for you to visit with your C7.
The Florida-based Corvette specialist currently offers wide body and performance upgrade kits for all C6 models, including the coupe, convertible, Z06, Grand Sport, and ZR1, and hoods, spoilers, and body kits for C5s.
We’ve talked about the Forgiato Widebody C7 Corvette Stingrays before because frankly, we think they’re cool. And while some other auto sites and Corvette traditionalists continue to bash these cars, we hold them up as great examples of the what can be done with a base Corvette Stingray when you have time, money and a vision.
