If you’re a fan of just about any type of car, but especially if you’re a Corvette fan, a web browsing trip through eBay Motors on a regular basis is almost required—you just never knows what rare, odd, unusual, or just plain cool cars will show up. Currently being offered for sale is a super rare 1969 Baldwin-Motion Phase III GT Corvette with only 46,160 miles on the odometer. The auction ends Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 3:06 p.m. You can be sure that the current bid of $55,655 will not be close to the selling price. So far there have been 14 bids and, needless to say, the reserve has not been met.

If that 650 horsepower Corvette Z06 isn’t powerful enough for you, you might want to check out this upgrade from the folks at Late Model Racecraft.
They’ve just released a video showing this beautiful Velocity Yellow Z06 that they have upgraded to coax out 743 wheel horsepower, making it what might be the most powerful C7 Corvette Z06 tested on a dyno so far.
While modding Corvettes is pretty common here in the States, it’s also a phenomenon that happens across the globe as owners search for more power. One such tuner located in western Austria is O.CT Tuning who recently went to work on the C7 Corvette Stingray.
If you want your new C7 Corvette Stingray to speak with a German accent, German tuner Prior Design GmbH may have what you are looking for. They recently revealed their latest Corvette aerobody creation, the PDR700, a widebody kit featuring a new front bumper, spoiler and cupwings; rear diffuser; side skirts; front fenders; and rear fender flares that take the look of the C7 to aggressive new levels.
Texas-based tuner Hennessey Performance has been busy tweeking the new C7 Corvette Stingray over the last year with various packages designed to increase performance of the new sports car. Now that the 2015 model is out, Hennessey recently showed off the performance characteristics of its supercharged HPE700 package on a Corvette Stingray equipped with the new potent 8-speed automatic transmission.
A conservative ECU setup by Chevrolet appears to be the cause for the power loss some 2015 Corvette Z06 owners say they are experiencing after heavy use on the highway or the track.
Some people thought the power loss might be caused by a heat soak problem, which is caused by the buildup of heat in the engine compartment after several full throttle runs. This heat cuts the efficiency of the supercharger because hot air has reduced oxygen molecule density, meaning less fuel will be burned.
We’ve been talking a lot lately about the guys at Vengeance Racing and their Arctic White 2015 Corvette Z06.
First they performed a massive burnout in the Chevrolet dealer’s parking lot after taking delivery of their new Corvette and then after taking the 20 mile trip back to their shop in Cumming, GA., they put the bone stock Z06 on the dyno where it yielded 585 hp and 611 lb-ft torque at the rear wheels.
Last week an Arctic White Corvette Z06 was picked up by the guys from Vengeance Racing who proceeded to do a massive burnout in the dealer’s lot before taking their new super car back to their shop in Cumming, GA.
Once the Z06 was safely ensconced in the tuner’s garage, it was immediately placed on the dynojet to see what its baseline horsepower and torque numbers were.
