Corvette Racing opted to show off the next generation racer based on the C7 Corvette Stingray with two very public laps during the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca on Saturday afternoon. With Corvette Racing driver Tommy Milner at the controls, the Stingray took to the track and the feedback we’re hearing online is that the crowd was very shocked and surprised to see the camouflaged vinyl-wrapped race car in the flesh for the very first time.

The No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R of Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen placed second in the sixth round of the American Le Mans Series. Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner, driving the No. 4 Compuware Corvette, finished third.

Milner took the checkered flag in the No. 4 Compuware Corvette C6.R for the fifth round of the ALMS as the duo became the first in the GT class to win multiple races in 2013.

Magnussen fifth, Milner seventh in testing for highly competitive GTE Pro field
LE MANS, France (June 9, 2013) – Corvette Racing successfully worked through its testing program Sunday for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The pair of velocity yellow Compuware Corvette C6.Rs completed eight hours of running with no major issues ahead of the world’s most famous endurance race on June 22-23.
One of the most popular seminars at Corvette Museum’s Bash is the one featuring members of the factory-backed Corvette Racing Team. This year the seminar featured Corvette Racing’s Program Manager Doug Fehan, driver of the #4 Corvette C6.R Tommy Milner and the #3 Corvette C6.Rs Crew Chief Dan Binks.
